I love my new compost pile 🌱
Now I just have to keep the kids off it long enough to get it in the beds!

It a good feeling to have the beds reset for 2027!
Clover is now planted in the first half with the remaining beds to be planted in a few weeks!
Now to just keep everything watered well as I wait for a compost delivery and then there is seed starting 😅 Soooo much to do!

We actually got a picture of all of us together this weekend ❤️ I’m disappointed about the lack of rain last night so we are off to till beds for clover cover crops!

2027 crop planning going on this morning 🪴 ☕️
Yesterday I cleared out tons of seeds that I had wanted to try but decided it wasn’t in the best interest for the business.
This is so hard to do when all you want to do it grow EVERYTHING 😅
Crop rotation is super important to keep disease and pests down so pulling up old layouts is a must.
If you want a great garden next year, you have to start in the fall!

Appreciation post for our local florist The Rusty Willow, LLC!
💐 Many of you may not know it but a good bit of our flowers go to the Rusty Willow.
I appreciate them immensely- not just for how they choose to support us but the charitable contributions they make for the community, the long hours that I see them put in to make beautiful creations for us and the love that that they show my girls when we stop in.

Well we have decided to close up the garden for the season as we get our cover crop going in the beds and seeding fall planted annuals!
We will be back March 2027 with tulips and ranunculus 🌷 Photos are some of my favorites from this spring ❤️

I have been waiting to post this, but I have not changed my mind- We will not be at the Grove Farmers Markets for the remainder of the season.
🌸 We will still have bouquets available for pick up at the Market on 340 here in Zena on Saturday’s 10am until sold out and by request throughout the week!
🌸 I will miss seeing you. I truly enjoyed talking with everyone and watching your face light up when you see the flowers. This was a difficult decision but it is best for my family right now ❤️ 💐
