Fred and Donnell Pasion of Passiflora Mosaics are self directed artists and instructors. Since 2000 they have produced a diverse body of work that includes award-winning mosaics, concrete sculpture and found object art. Their work consists of one-of-a-kind home and garden art pieces as well as site-specific architectural and public art installations for hospitals and private residences. Over the y
ears they have taught hundreds of instructional workshops from their Grover Beach studio and elsewhere around the Central Coast, introducing thousands to mosaic art and sculpture. Artist Statement: Mosaic art is our passion and our livelihood. Our art is unique in that every work is a collaboration of each others artistic strengths. We are inspired by the natural beauty of creation around us, especially where land and sea meet along the Central California Coast. Many describe our work as unique, creative, inspiring, whimsical, colorful and playful.
