Chapter Two Vintage Offering hand painted furniture and vintage decor for your home. Hi, my name is Laurence and I'm the owner of Chapter Two Vintage. I have always loved to paint.

My name is unusual for a woman but I was born in Paris, France where it's actually a common name for women. I have two daughters, three grandchildren and a German Shepherd. I love color, I love art, I love home decor and I love furniture. I paint walls, floors, fabric and furniture. If it doesn't move, it's fair game. I love to find old, unloved, unused pieces of furniture and make them beautiful

and useful again but I could not do it without my friend, Tom Mucherino, a brilliant carpenter, who can fix or build anything. He makes sure all the furniture I find is repaired, solid and ready for me to paint. He also hauls it for me and helps me to deliver sold pieces. Before you get rid of your grandmothers old furniture, try to envision how beautiful it can be, restored and repainted. There's something about having a piece of furniture with history, especially if that history is your family history. I offer custom work and with Tom's help, we can restore and bring beauty to most of your old pieces of furniture. Thank you for visiting my page. I hope you enjoyed seeing my work!

Literally the highlight of my day! I love watching the many bunnies and birds that are right outside my window. Yes, I feed them apples and carrots every day. They don’t live long so if I can make even one day better for them, I will!

My granddaughter baked this chocolate chip cookie basket, churned her own ice cream to fill it, and carved the strawberry rose on top for a very special Mother’s Day dessert!

My little shop has been looking a bit sad and empty lately. These are photos from the past few years. I’ve had a few health issues lately but I also don’t have the reliable help I need to bring in the bigger items.
I will be leaving Stratford Antique Center next month and that makes me sad but I want to thank all who have supported me and decorated your homes with my special finds!
