There are moments that remind you what something was truly built on.
When I became the owner of 98 Treasures, I knew I was stepping into a business that had already been part of this community for many years. But over the last three years, I have had the privilege of making it my own—pouring into it my dreams, my creativity, my ideas, and most importantly, my heart.
And while we lost so many things in the fire, I am reminded that my version of 98 Treasures was never built on things.
It was built on relationships.
It was built on dreams and creative visions.
It was built on vendors who became friends, customers who became more than familiar faces, classes that brought strangers around a table, laughter, conversations, celebrations, and a community that continued to show up for us.
Those things did not burn.
Right now, I don’t know exactly what the next version of 98 Treasures will look like. But I do know that I am doing everything I can to give this business—the one that has been a part of our community for more than a decade—a chance to continue.
Over the coming days and weeks, you will see us sharing different ways to support 98 Treasures as we navigate what comes next. If you feel led to help, one of the simplest and most meaningful things you can do costs absolutely nothing: please share our posts.
