My in-laws retired next to the water. We may be landlocked but, this view helps me feel a little less so. This order is a custom request from a dear friend for one of her keiki's kumu celebrating a HUGE milestone. Mahalo for trusting me with your lei.

9/10 you ask why someone is visiting Hawai'i? They talk about Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head. Maybe Waimea Falls, Ko'olina or, Kualoa. Not bad, not bad BUT.....ask one why they like come home? 9/10 you get one LIST. LOOOONG LIST OF PLACES FO GRIND!!!

While we wish the circumstances for our trip home had been different, we're grateful for the blessing it was. Saying aloha 'oe (farewell) to Tūtū and Oma overlooking their family home. Sharing a meal and time with 'ohana (family) after many years of being apart. Eating our favorite local grindz. My keiki (childrend) reconnecting with their hoaloha (friends) in their favorite way....BEACH DAY! We fit as much as we could into these five days. Even with double time, it would never have been enough.

Hawai'i is home for many reasons. It's not easy to leave. We find comfort in knowing Akua (God) has a plan. This life is in his hands. One day, we'll return to ku'u home Hawai'i. Until then, a hui hou🤙
