It’s hard to believe that in just a few months this will be a flower garden! It’s already been a rough year with 20° temperatures above normal, so hopefully it’s not the surface of the sun in July. I did buy some shade cloth so I hope that will help to protect everything. I’m also seeing some pretty bad grasshoppers already, so we are going to have to treat for that soon.
The goal is to have a lot of flowers for my son’s wedding in August and I hope that works out!

Someone who finds peace and joy in flowers.

I tend to think those ancient Greeks knew what they were doing—stringing garlands, laying blooms on altars, tucking flowers behind ears.

They understood that petals speak when words fall short. Around here, we still believe that.

I am thinking about setting up a Mother’s Day pre order. Tag someone who needs to order a Mother’s Day bouquet.

How do you feel about color? Me? I’m huge fan. I am loving bright contrasts together and bold choices. Especially for weddings. I feel like it gives such a happiness and energy to a monumental day.
