Tucker Candles, formerly Tucker Candle Co., was created in 2021 by Bevan Payne in memory of her grandpa, Lamar Tucker. Work and college consumed all her extra time and in 2023, she had to close down temporarily. Proud to say she’s still rocking both, but is still unable to resurrect her business. I was a silent partner and mainly focused on making her dreams come true when she started the business

. I did sales and marketing and helped her with festivals. Her sister and I are looking forward to restarting with a little help from my husband. We’re in the process of rebranding and streamlining some things. After the first of the year, we’ll start purchasing supplies and hope to start slowly building up our inventory to get ready for fall festivals.
