Two special pieces, now happily at home in Richmond. One I had the joy of delivering in person today, and the other came with the sweetest photo showing me where she landed.

This is the part I love most—the people, the stories, and seeing something I found become part of someone else’s home.

So grateful I took a chance on doing what I love. The joy is back.

🍂CURTAIN CALL, HERE I COME🍂

My car is packed—and so is my dining room!

I’ve spent much of today tagging, pricing, wrapping and packing a collection of pieces that I’ll be delivering to Angie Furbee on September 3 for their Fall 2026 sale.

For those who haven’t experienced Curtain Call, it has become one of Richmond’s much-anticipated home furnishings and consignment events. Thousands of pieces—from furniture and artwork to antiques, decorative accessories, china, crystal and more—are brought together and beautifully displayed throughout the space. It truly is a treasure hunt for anyone who loves interiors and finding something a little unexpected.

Behind Curtain Call are Angie Furbee, Kimberly Dawson and Ellen Bradley, three women who have helped build the event into a Richmond tradition.

I’m very excited to have a collection from Irvie Pate Interiors included in this fall’s sale. Some are pieces you may recognize, and others haven’t even made it to Instagram yet.

Treasure hunting in Florence, Italy…

One of my goals on this trip was to find beautiful Florentine trays to bring home for Irvie Pate—and today I found the perfect little shop.

Giorgi Carlo, tucked along Piazza Santa Croce, was filled with traditional Florentine treasures. Even better was meeting the lovely owner—we admired each other’s blonde hair and shared such a sweet moment!

A few special pieces are coming home with me and will soon be available through Irvie Pate Interiors.

One of the greatest joys of travel is slowing down, looking around, and discovering the beauty that exists beyond the familiar.

SOLD | Sometimes the perfect home for pieces means more than the sale itself.

These two chairs have a story, and when it was time to let them go, I hoped they would find just the right next home. They did.

They were purchased by a very special person and will now sit in her new office—a place where young women will come to talk, seek guidance, share what’s on their minds, or simply have someone there to listen.

I can’t think of a more meaningful next chapter for them.

One of my favorite parts of Irvie Pate is seeing where the pieces I’ve collected end up and knowing they’ll continue to be beautifully lived with.
