Seeking motivated individual with at least 2 years CAD experience for the role of “Entry Level Draftsman”. In this role the individual will experience CAD in a high volume, custom order, production setting. Processes in this role include the use of both 2d and basic 3d CAD systems along with a “Nesting” software for the efficient layout of parts to be cut on a CNC laser.

Responsibilities:
Requirements

At least two years experience with CAD.
Solid comprehension of CAD language.
Understanding of drawing concepts for both 2d and 3d applications.
Organizational skills Attention to detail.
Bonus points for…

Experience with Soildworks, VersaCAD, and Sigmanest Production/Manufacturing Experience.
Experience with sheet metal processes Knowledge of the fireplace industry.
A joy for problem solving.

Positions will perform a variety of duties including cutting, texturing steel, grinding, deburring, cleaning of parts, cutting, and removal of scrap & welding. Must be hardworking, a self-starter, and be open to learning and continuously improving. Other skills necessary are excellent organizational skills, and working with a team, and meeting goals.
