LAVS Friends, we have passed our road Angel torch to Hampshire’s Station 5 Fire Dept. I am sure many of you have found it. It is on the left as you come into Hampshire. There is also a nice comfy porch very close to the store, that many of you veterans know of. Hampshire does have a cute new little store/restaurant called the Buck and Doe General Store. Maybe they will be open as you pass through. They are across the highway from our old store and they serve breakfast and lunch. The old little “Bench of Hope” is still out front of our old store. You are welcome to stop by to sign it. Please be aware a poor old cat lost his/her last life out beside the old Pepsi box (which does not work) trying to cross the road. The smell is not the best. I wouldn’t blame you if you chose to skip it this year. Good Luck on your journey to the rock! Stay Safe! We will be watching for your finish!l 🧡

The Last Annual Vol State Road Race is currently underway. Please be mindful of those participating as they walk along Hwy 412 especially at night.
