Vintage Stereo Cabinet Upgrade! 🎵🎵

Today the new record player from got installed.

We come across so many record players from yesteryears. Sometimes it makes more sense just to replace the record players with new. This one we snagged for under $40.

Next up, we will be replacing the dated damaged speaker with new Bluetooth speaker to pair with the record player and then have some work to do on the radio itself.

👀 Look past the damage, old and find ways to restore, reimagine and fall back into love with those pieces that are hidden in the attic, at grandma’s shed or even discarded on the side of the road..like this one was!

It will be ready in time to play Mariah Carey’s Christmas 🎄 Album

As most of you know, we are closing our brick and mortar location in Downtown Hampton. Tomorrow, Saturday, October 12 will be our LAST day open in that location. We have filled the store with items we aren't taking with us. And as a THANK YOU to all of you that have supported us over the years. We are going to do a FUN FLASH SALE! Here is how it will work: From 9:30-11:30am tomorrow Saturday 10/12, everything will be offered for F-R-E-E. take a little or take a lot. We just want to bless those that may need a dining room table, queen size post bed frame, outdoor table, chairs, artwork, corner curio cabinet...and much much more...So come ready to shop. It will be first come, first serve. You must remove your pieces on Saturday by day's end.

With sadness and a heavy heart we have decided to close the Downtown Hampton brick and mortar store for Salvage Boyz. We have enjoyed our years downtown but have definitely felt the squeeze over these past years with less foot traffic and a sense of being secure. We have fought the good fight coming up with dynamic events & fun times to bring you all downtown to shop with us. You have driven across bridges, underwater, across county and state lines..arriving early for killer sales…bringing your friends, your family and just helping us save the planet one piece at a time.

You even stuck in with us as we went years with no working air conditioning! You have supported our mission. So, thank you. As we transition into a new look for Salvage Boys with more custom creative masterpieces, we will be actively looking for a location that will services us better. Our goal is to find something that not only has air conditioning (Lol) but offers better parking , accessibility and amenities. So change is necessary so that we can better service you and continue to save the planet.

Speaking of change…drumroll....Jaylen has decided to go to college locally to pursue a degree. Staying locally, will give him the chance to continue with the business. He will be doing custom orders, attending festivals/events around Hampton Roads and getting back to providing more content online with DIY and repurposed projects while we find a new place to call home. BUT, with all of this, it means one thing .... EVERYTHING MUST BE SOLD OFF!

YES - Everything MUST GO!

How it will work: Before we start selling everything off, we are going to offer a TAKE IT ALL price* if anyone is interested in purchasing it all. It would be a great opportunity for someone that flips furniture to have incredible inventory or for someone that wants to start their own flipping business to get a jump with a bunch of cool stuff.

Our sales will begin the week of 16th & go through the 28th with the first couple of days being exclusive to our longtime customers and friends to shop early. (Please see our posts for more details of sales starting this weekend 9/21)

All proceeds from the sale will go towards Jaylen’s college tuition. So come out and support! Share, like and repost!

REMEMBER THIS IS NOT the end of Salvage Boyz. It is just the end of us & Downtown Hampton. A new chapter awaits.
