Today may have been the last hooray in the garden. Frost is coming! If not tonight, soon. Under the clear and sunny sky today, I harvested some pretties for me!

When I hear someone say they don't bother with flowers because they only die, I'm sure my eyeroll can be heard round the world.

Kiln openings are so fun, y'all. Waiting on a kiln to cool feels very much like waiting on Santa to make it down your chimney. I'm not even kidding! Then there's the magic of lighting your fresh from the kiln ghost luminary. Pottery is absolute magic!

I've been thinking about a permanent display for the House Of Bloom Florals entry. Something that makes our customers smile and feel a little bit cared for. I wanted something a little more than a pot of mums and a pumpkin. They're great, just not what I had in mind.

BuT, It had to give us some serious mileage too. I wanted to be able to transition it throughout the seasons without too much angst.

After some planning, a little fall whimsy hits just right. Whimsy is one of my love languages - I'm definitely bilingual when it comes to love language. 😆
