Common Thread brings together the work of three distinct artists, Marcia Ballou, Mia Cross, and Laura Petrovich-Cheney, exploring the art of stitching, quilting, and woodworking.

Through vibrant colors, familiar materials, and thoughtful craftsmanship, these works create a warm, welcoming space to experience art this fall.

Join the artists for the opening reception on Friday, October 23, from 6-8 PM. All are welcome.

Curated by Danielle Drees, PhD, author of Spectators: Feminist Performance and Practice, the exhibition brings together artists whose work invites us to pause, look closer, and consider the ideas behind the art.
