In this kitchen, the West Coast influence shows up through a few key visual cues.

The custom reeded white dove hood adds texture without being ornate, and the black-framed glass cabinets bring contrast while still keeping the look open and light. It’s elevated, but not heavy or traditional.

Flat-front, light wood cabinets lean modern but still feel organic, very characteristic of West Coast design, which balances minimalism with warmth.
The white marble, light wood cabinetry, and abundance of natural light create that relaxed, sun-filled feeling.

Cabinetry: Signature Custom Cabinetry ~ Frameless European overlay, Sierra Style Door & Drawer in Irish Creme Stain. Counter cabinetry in custom black metal doors with an onyx finish with a white dove surround.

Open shelving, curated but not cluttered styling, and soft tones keep it feeling relaxed rather than formal. ☀️✨

Designer Spotlight ✨

Sara has over 17 years of experience in design. She attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. Out of college Sara was a design assistant at a small Interior design firm. She later managed a tile showroom for a large company. Sara previously specialized in kitchen and bath design at a design-build firm before joining the TopNotch team. Celebrating three years with TopNotch, she continues to make a lasting impact every day!

Sara enjoys working with clients through all phases of design. Seeing the customers excitement and appreciation for the finished product at the end of a project is the most satisfying part of this profession for her.

Sara Babson leads the team with this great collaboration presenting with Violandi + Warner Interiors, Yale Appliance, and Clarke Luxury Appliance.

The energy in the room was truly inspiring, and it was such a pleasure connecting with both new and familiar faces. Conversations felt thoughtful and engaging, and it’s always exciting to see so many perspectives come together in such a meaningful way. A sincere thank you to our hosts for bringing everyone together creating such a welcoming environment, it truly made the experience special.
