Art is not beauty, art is seeing things differently” means that art is not simply about creating something beautiful. It is about changing the way we see and understand the world.
Art challenges our perceptions, questions what we consider normal and encourages us to discover meaning in the unexpected.
Something doesn’t have to be traditionally beautiful to be powerful, moving or important.
For Women in Art, this message is particularly meaningful. Women artists have historically challenged conventions, broken boundaries and offered perspectives that have too often been overlooked.
The true power of art lies not just in what we see, but in how it changes the way we see.
