My heart hurts making this post, but y’all it’s time.
What happened? Well, to put it bluntly we ran out of money. With the new tariffs, rising gas prices, and the general state of the world around us we just couldn’t keep up. On top of that I’ve been struggling with my physical and mental health and running this space has taken its toll on me.
What’s next? Dunno! But you’ve certainly not seen the last of me. Cactus valley may be closing but I will always be a safe space for y’all. I need some time to rest and reset but expect big things from me (idk how to do anything else) and if you see me out in the world plz come give me a hug - I probably need it.
I never pretended to know what I was doing. I’m a recovering theater kid who had a dream. I ran this business to the best of my ability, trying my very darnedest to uphold my morals and ethics along the way. As it were, I’ve learned I am not a very good capitalist. I am not meant to be a cog in the machine and I tried to run my business in a way that felt good to me.
I’m proud of what I did here. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to do something cool. I love you.
