⚡ BIG JOBS & SOLID RESULTS! 👷‍♂️

Our Dead Rock Services crew was hard at work in Charles Town, WV, completing a major electrical upgrade for the Martin's sign!

This project included:
⚡ Trenching approximately 150 feet for new underground electrical service
⚡ Installing a new 200-amp electrical service, panel, and meter
⚡ Running new wiring to provide reliable power to the sign's lighting
⚡ Correcting voltage issues to get those lights shining bright again!

👷‍♂️💙 And the cutest part of the job? One of our technicians had a very special little visitor stop by to help Daddy for a minute! We may have a future Dead Rock electrician in the making! 🥹🔧

What started as an emergency electrical service call revealed a potentially dangerous situation!
Our team discovered loose connections inside the home's main electrical panel that were causing excessive heat and had actually begun melting some of the panel's components. 🔥
After making the necessary emergency repairs, we recommended a full panel replacement to ensure the home's electrical system is safe and reliable.

🔧 Our upcoming work includes:
✔️ Replacing the existing panel with a new 200-amp Square D panel
✔️ Installing new circuit breakers
✔️ Correcting improper wiring in the garage subpanel
✔️ Verifying proper grounding, bonding, and electrical connections

🥶 Furnace won't turn on? Before you book anyone, try this.

Check the thermostat is set to HEAT with fresh batteries. Find the furnace power switch — it looks exactly like a light switch and gets flipped by accident more than you'd believe. Check the breaker. Change the filter.

Those four solve a genuine share of the no-heat calls we get.

And three things that mean stop and call immediately: a gas smell, a CO alarm sounding, or a breaker that trips again straight after reset.
