Hello September!

I think I can smell pumpkin spice in the air… or at least I see pumpkins popping up everywhere!

Join Donna (our newest crochet instructor) at Yarnability to crochet pumpkins. If you can work a chain and single crochet, you can make a pumpkin! This class gets you not just one pumpkin pattern, but two!

Class Date/Time: Sunday, September 20 at 1pm-3pm

Yarn: Two 100 gram skeins of Worsted weight yarn in 2 colors ( we like orange and green) Project yarn to be purchased at Yarnability.

Hook: US size G or H hook (bring a variety of sizes)

Notions: locking stitch markers, scissors, large eye darning/yarn needle

Class Fee: $35 includes:

2 hours of instruction
2 crochet pumpkin patterns
poly-fil stuffing for pumpkins

The Jefferson County fair kicks off its 73rd annual county fair today. In celebration of fair week, we have a collection of hand knit and crochet chickens! Our stitchers were so creative with their hens. Stop by this week and place a vote for your favorite one. (One vote per person.)

The top 3 chickens will be awarded with a ribbon (1st, 2nd, and 3rd places), and prize money (gift certificate to Yarnability).
