I could not have said it better.

When I hike and admire the different barks of trees l find them so beautiful . Young trees are smooth and have not experience many different seasons as yet. The bark is lovely, but yet is a little boring. No real character to it. As the tree ages, so the bark transforms from smooth to rugged wisdom. Very deep lines, textures , furrows , hidden colors , unique characters revealing a visual diary. I truly believe aging brings a more authentic beauty and wisdom. Embracing life .

It is officially soup season. Well I love soups no matter the season, truth be told.

This is a WFPB version of Sauerkraut Soup with mushrooms and beans. Then I topped with a dollop of coconut yogurt and dill.

Yes, I know the beneficial bacteria does not make it through the cooking process but this soup is surprisingly good.

The original recipe is from the culture guru. I changed to WFPB very easily. Hope you enjoy.
