TIMELESS TUDOR (interior)

Throughout the residence, every detail — from the grand stair in the entry foyer to the bespoke Tudor arch front door —exudes a sense of history and craftsmanship. Oak floors with inlaid border designs add a touch of warmth and sophistication to the interior spaces.

An alfresco dining room, nestled within a courtyard flanked by folding doors, offers a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living, providing a tranquil oasis for family gatherings and celebrations.

The kitchen features hickory cabinetry custom designed around an apron farmhouse sink, wall ovens and a 36” side-by-side refrigerator/freezer. A gas cooktop and wall mosaic is accentuated by the custom copper-rose range hood with copper apron trim. Perla Venata quartzite countertops, ivory beige travertine subway backsplash and hexagon floor tile
further enhance the home’s authentic charm.

Adjacent to the kitchen, a butler’s pantry outfitted with extra storage and bar with a sink, ice freezers and coffee station makes getting ready for the morning with a growing family more functional.

Classic marble tile by Jeffrey Court adorns all the bathrooms, infusing each space with timeless luxury and refinement.

The powder room presents a custom made vanity with a black marble countertop. A two light bracket Weston vanity sconce reveals the intricate tile patterns. The full height 3x6 beveled subway tile is partitioned by the 1x3 staggered mosaics and aspen white pencils. Penny round floral pattern field and 6” black penny round border marble systems are inlaid into the floor.

The in-law suite bath is, of course, no exception to ornate finishes - new palm beach calacatta/rose desert tile bar with honed 12x24 Casablanca Florida bath tile embroider the room. The bath exhibits a custom double vanity and walk-in-shower inlaid with 2x2 calacatta gold floor tile.

We had the privilege of collaborating with clients who shared a deep appreciation for the timeless elegance of old homes, particularly American Tudor and Victorian architecture. When they entrusted us with the task of crafting a custom home design, we knew it would be a labor of love, evoking the quintessential charm of Mainline Philadelphia suburbs while embodying the essence of a cherished family sanctuary.

Every aspect of multiple award-winning design was meticulously curated, with a keen focus on materials that would honor the legacy of classic architecture. The exterior facade features real granite stone, copper turrets, dormers, and cupolas, adorned with simulated slate roofing that seamlessly blends tradition with modern durability. Bespoke copper lantern fixtures by Bevolo illuminate the exterior, casting a warm glow that beckons visitors to explore further.

This custom Tudor-style stone residence seamlessly blends old-world charm with contemporary outdoor living. Designed for year-round enjoyment, the landscape features intimate courtyards, open-air dining, and a sophisticated entertaining space that reflects Tudor elegance with modern luxury.

Two enchanting courtyards flank the dining area, one with a built-in gas-fired stone fire pit for cozy gatherings. Folding glass partition doors dissolve the boundary between indoors and out, enhancing alfresco dining and connection to the surrounding spaces.

A covered patio, anchored by a custom-built grill beneath a hand-crafted stone arch, provides a refined entertaining area. Italgraniti porcelain pavers and Doric-style columns enhance the architectural grandeur, while a wood-look plank ceiling adds warmth and texture.

Meticulously curated details—from fire-lit courtyards to timeless stonework—create a harmonious balance of sophistication and functionality, honoring the Tudor tradition while elevating outdoor living with enduring beauty and craftsmanship.

ANNVILLE KITCHEN INTERIOR REMODEL

Tasked with revitalizing a dated early 1990s custom home, this project focused on transforming the heart of the residence: the kitchen. The original layout presented several challenges, including limited space, inefficient workflow, and insufficient storage. The solution involved a bold reimagining of the floor plan, starting with the strategic removal of a wall that once separated the kitchen from an underutilized hallway. This newly captured square footage was redefined into a functional and elegant pantry zone, seamlessly accommodating a paneled built-in refrigerator, freezer, and wine refrigerator.

Further elevating the functionality, an awkward and previously unused nook was transformed into a sophisticated butler’s pantry, enhancing both storage and prep space. With the kitchen now open and airy, a generously scaled island takes center stage, serving as a dynamic hub for both culinary tasks and social gatherings. Anchoring the island is a striking double faucet workstation sink, while the nearby 6-burner range and double oven provide professional-grade capability.

The material palette marries opulence with timeless appeal. Rich granite countertops and backsplash, flecked with black and gold veining, are illuminated by gleaming gold faucets, infusing the space with warmth and refinement. Crisp white transitional cabinetry offers a bright and versatile backdrop, further elevated by upper glass-front cabinets with integrated backlighting—perfect for showcasing the homeowners’ curated collection of special occasion glassware and ceramics.

This award winning project delivers a masterful blend of improved functionality, spatial elegance, and elevated design, turning a once-constrained kitchen into a refined and welcoming focal point for everyday living and entertaining.

WALNUT WASHROOM

This secondary bathroom redesign was conceived as a modern retreat that both respects and enhances the architectural language of a midcentury modern home. The homeowners desired a space that felt cohesive with the clean lines, earthy tones, and sophisticated restraint found throughout the rest of the residence.

To ground the design in a distinctly modern aesthetic, the bathroom was fully wrapped in Mediterranea 12x24 tile in a stacked bond pattern. This bold gesture—floor-to-ceiling tiling—creates a seamless visual plane while emphasizing the linearity and geometry that define midcentury style. A coordinating 2x2 mosaic tile was selected for the floor, introducing a refined textural contrast and reducing visual scale underfoot for comfort and functionality.

Replacing the original tub, a standing shower was installed, featuring sleek barn door-style rolling glass doors—a modern nod to industrial hardware and spatial efficiency. The centerpiece of the vanity wall is an electric mirror with integrated LED lighting and multiple mood settings,
providing the perfect balance between ambient and task lighting.

Custom-designed for both function and form, a walnut vanity brings warm organic texture to the space, echoing the millwork found elsewhere in the home. A deep brown quartz countertop was selected to harmonize with the rich tones of the wall tile, grounding the space in warmth and understated elegance.

Completing the room, a Toto Aquia bidet-toilet offers both style and advanced technology. Its slim modern profile, heated seat, and self-cleaning features align with the homeowner’s desire for a space that balances luxury with utility.

This secondary bathroom is a thoughtful interpretation of midcentury modern principles, elevated by carefully curated materials, modern conveniences, and attention to detail that honors the original spirit of the home.

BOHO MODERN HOMESTEAD (interior)

Beyond the striking façade of this 4,000 sf custom home, the airy interior is defined by generous natural lighting through its array of black-framed tall windows and transoms.

Organic materials, illuminated shelving, and sleek, sculptural modern pendants set the tone for the main floor open-concept living.

The kitchen features a wide kitchen island, open shelving and warm wood-toned custom cabinetry. The dining space is fit with a bar and surrounded by ample sunlight and scenic views. Soft white-beige stone veneer adds texture to the fireplace and foyer built-in.

The entry foyer is accessed through an expansive pivot door adjacent to a floating multi-story stair with wooden treads and black metal railing.

The primary bathroom draws from the exterior facade -- a white soaking tub, black vanities with white countertops, LED mirrors and modern wall sconces fill the space. An expansive walk-in-closet with bespoke cabinetry connects the bathroom suite for easy access.

This 4,000 sf custom residence blends contemporary materials with a sleek, balanced aesthetic. White stucco, stacked stone veneer, and umber-toned siding create a striking composition beneath clean hip roofs and black-framed tall windows and transoms.

The glass breezeway connects a 3-car garage to the main home, while a stone pillared portico canopies an expansive pivot door welcoming those that enter through. LED aluminum sconces and interior pendant lighting illuminate this bold yet refined design.
