Ready to learn the basics of sewing and gain the confidence to start creating your own projects? Our Learn to Sew class is a great place to begin!

You’ll learn about different fabrics, get comfortable with your sewing machine, and learn how to work with a commercial pattern while making a comfortable pair of pajama or lounge pants along the way. It’s a fun, practical project that will give you skills you can continue using for future sewing adventures!

Our upcoming classes are October 3rd, November 7th, and December 5th, from 9:30 AM–4:30 PM.

You’re welcome to bring your own sewing machine, or you can use one of our classroom Baby Lock machines by prior arrangement.

Supplies are not included, but class participants receive 10% off their class supplies purchased at Ragtime Fabrics.

Whether you’re completely new to sewing or just want to build your confidence, we’d love to help you get started! ❤️

Join Kathy on Friday, September 25th, from 9:30 AM–4:30 PM for this beginner-friendly class.

Have you ever struggled to find a T-shirt that actually fits the way you want it to? Join us for our Perfect T-Shirt Class and learn how to create a T-shirt customized to your shape and fit!

This pattern is designed with real people in mind and takes common fitting concerns into consideration, including a high round back, forward shoulder, full bust, and full hip. You’ll learn how to customize the shoulder and neckline for a better fit, along with options for a waistline, shirt-tail hem, three necklines, and four sleeve lengths. A full bust adjustment can also be made if needed.

Supplies are not included, but you’ll receive 10% off class supplies purchased at Ragtime Fabrics.

Join Kathy for this two-part class on Saturday, September 26th, from 9:30 AM–4:30 PM, and Thursday, October 1st, from 4:00–7:00 PM.

This simple, versatile shirt is perfect for quilting cotton, making it cool, comfortable, and fun to wear. The pattern includes multiple sizes for both men and women, so you can make a shirt that’s truly your own.

Along the way, you’ll learn some new sewing skills, including how to make a collar, pockets, and buttonholes. And don’t worry, we’ll be right there to guide you through each step and help you feel confident along the way! ❤️
