"I cannot say enough good things about Persimmon Petals of Hartford! The book bouquet centerpieces they created for our scholarship luncheon were absolutely beautiful and far exceeded what we envisioned. You could tell how much love and craftsmanship went into every single arrangement. When Kirstin began setting them up, it felt like the final, perfect piece of the puzzle falling into place." — Ms. Chukwurah

This , Persimmon Petals and YWCA Hartford Region would like to celebrate the rich histories, cultures, traditions and enduring contributions of Indigenous peoples across this land.

From the original name of our very own city (Suckiaug) to our office located on this Indigenous land, we'd like to pay our respects and acknowledge that our work is only possible because of the communities who came before us.

We remain committed to advancing equity, amplifying Indigenous voices and creating a future where all communities are seen, respected and valued.
