After months of posting daily on FB (6a–6p!), I noticed my reach rarely passed 2–3 unless it was a Reel. That told me one thing—it’s time for a shift.

Moving forward, I’m prioritizing TikTok over Facebook. In just 7 days, TikTok brought more growth than 3 months on FB. In 14 days, TikTok pushed 4 of my videos into the 10,000+ view range. I realized I was doing my business a disservice by not leaning into what actually works.

Here’s what that means for FaceBook:

1️⃣ You’ll see a better blend of candle + teaching content. People connect to people, not just products.
2️⃣ Less promo posts—more Reels. For exclusives, visit ShaesAromaWay.com 💕
3️⃣ Shoutouts + followbacks for new folks will stay but be once a week to allow organic interactions

No TikTok ads, no major influencer support—just me, my camera, and my everyday life. And people are loving it 💗

As you go into this week’s “challenge” remember : sometimes it’s not you, it’s the platform. Don’t be afraid to pivot!🙏🏾✨

I took a much needed “break” from FaceBook this week & it’s actually sad to return today & see how relations dissolve from shares, comments, and follows ☹️

I literally read 3 think-pieces where actual BUSINSESS OWNERS were expressing actual anger towards their followng because of engagement.

I get this is a community where every like, share, & comment matters, but where do we draw the line? You are a BUSINESS you have to WORK. And if one strategy doesn’t work— try another 🤷🏾‍♀️

It’s easy to target people on social media when you don’t have to deal with their real emotions, reactions, and responses without your army a 1K+ followers coming to your defense.

I really hope some of these FB creators touch grass this weekend and reevaluate what they’re doing. Are you pushing this community forward or showing a level of entitlement?
