It’s been a very long time since I was able to buy a cool old concrete faux bois planter. So I was very happy find this one.
It is a great form and a larger size. It measures about 18” wide and 10” high. It has a beautifully aged natural patina and only a couple chips.

I bought an unusual antique iron bed this week. I love the simplicity of the diamond pattern and the little cast iron angel heads beneath the squared brass rails.
The full size bed was made by the Art Bedstead Company of Chicago in the late 19th century/early 20th century.

This week I bought a pile of cool old gas light fixtures, parts and pieces.
I used parts from a couple of the fixtures to make an electric one. Once I was finished with it I realized that the pierced decorative vents in the fixture were very similar to the pierced decoration of the midcentury French dining set that is in the shop.
I do like how they look together.

This is the most unusual pair of heavy cast iron urns I have found in a long time. These vintage amphora style urns are somewhat diminutive, standing less than two feet high. It’s difficult to find vintage garden pieces that will look right in a more modern environment. But now is your chance.

I think I hit the mother load.
Yesterday I bought the largest set of mid-century Salterini “Orange Slice” furniture I have seen offered for sale.
The set was designed by Maurizio Tempestini. It includes a dining table with four chairs, one round coffee table, a small side table and four benches.

Late 19th/early 20th century French cafe set now in the shop. The glass top table has a beautiful heavy cast iron base. The steel cafe chairs fold up for easy storage.
