🌟 Exciting Announcement for our Quilt Lovers! 🌟

We are thrilled to kick off our summer sew along starting June 2nd! This season, we’ll be featuring the beautiful Atomic Starburst pattern by Violet Craft.

Join us for three engaging classes, held on Tuesdays – June 2nd, June 16th, and June 30th, all from 12 pm to 4 pm. We will have kits and classes available for this pattern, with a sample of the blocks and the finished quilt displayed in our shop.

Details on pricing will be provided soon, and we're eager to hear from you! If there’s enough interest, we will consider adding more classes at different times.

✨ Exciting progress from one of our students! She started her beginner project with our adorable Waddles pattern, originally designed for a 58” x 58” wall hanging using the 4-inch Log Cabin Trim Tool. To create a larger queen-size quilt, we opted for the 8-inch Log Cabin Trim Tool instead.

The beauty of these rulers is their versatility; you can easily interchange them, as all strip sizes are clearly marked on each ruler! This is a fantastic demonstration of how adaptable these tools are for your quilting projects. Happy quilting! 🧵❤️

The second it hits 30° in Michigan, the whole state acts like we just touched down in Key West. There’s still a three-foot wall of gray slush at the end of the driveway, but Dave’s already firing up the grill in cargo shorts like it’s a July tailgate.

Someone’s aunt is sunbathing next to a snowbank, the kids have the bikes out, and neighbors you haven’t seen since the cider mill are waving like you survived a war together. "Beautiful day, eh?" Sir, there is literal ice hanging off your beard.

After a month of "air that hurts your face," 30° feels like a tropical cruise. Michigan math says anything above freezing is windows-down weather. The same people who were ready to duel over a shoveled parking spot last week are suddenly passing out Vernors and sharing burgers. Our seasonal depression leaves the body like a demon being exorcised. This isn't winter anymore—this is Michigan Spring Training.
