Hi! My name is Bob Adelsperger and welcome to Bob’s Brush and Palette. I am an oil painter with a lifelong connection to art and nature. Inspired by my grandfather, father and my mother, I create calming landscape paintings that reflect peaceful moments in time — quiet waters, mountain reflections, wooded streams, coastal views, and familiar places touched by light. My work is shaped by decades of painting experience, beginning in 1966, and deepened by my training as a Bob Ross artist and Certified Bob Ross Instructor and my passion for Plein Air painting.
Through layered color, soft transitions, and careful attention to atmosphere, I aim to capture more than a place — I aim to capture a feeling. Whether painting outdoors or in the studio, I am drawn to scenes that offer stillness, reflection, and connection. My paintings are meant to be both decorative and restorative, bringing a sense of tranquility and natural beauty into the spaces they inhabit.
