Hey FB friends!! Want a fun evening while earning some cash? Read me!!
Destiny Photographic Art has been going sooooooooooo well, but we primarily do Fine Art Shows, not craft shows. We were in Florida recently and I got tons of cool shells, which led to my latest biz, Beach Bum Art.
I was a Tastefully Simple Consultant for a few years. I love their products, but it was hard to maintain the level of sales I needed to in order to stay active. So, I am no longer a Consultant. ;-) But I will most certainly buy more from Janine Black, my amazing consultant and friend.
But, having done a few parties, it got me thinking. Why not do home parties with Beach Bum?? Easy set up, easy tear down, and no pressure from anyone. But, I want the "host" to benefit, like they would with TS, so I came up with offering part of my proceeds to the host to either keep, or use to buy some Beach Bum products. Totally up to the host. Keep the cash, or buy some cool things.
As you know, I am not one to "pressure" anyone, which is probably part of the reason why I sucked at TS. But I really want Beach Bum to be a success, and I'm hoping my friends can help me. If not, no problem. But, if you do decide to host, I'd give you 15% of my total sales to do whatever you want with. I know it's not a lot of money at all, since my prices are low, but I'll also offer the same deal if they buy a print or two from Destiny (I'll just bring a sample or two and they can look at our website to see all of our images). Between the two, I'm hoping the $$ will add up, and it will be beneficial to me, and to the host.
I'm available Tuesday and Wednesday evenings after 7:30, as well as Saturday, April 8th, Sunday, April 9th, Saturday April 29th and Sunday, April 30th. I figure this should only take about an hour, depending on the number of people attending.
Alternatively, another option would be to have an online FB Page Party, where I post pictures of my Beach Bum Items with Prices, and people comment if they'd like to make a purchase. Super easy for you, and me!
Please do NOT feel obligated to be a host, but if you'd like to, let me know, and we'll work on coordinating some dates. Also, as I mentioned, this needs to be pretty close to my house, since I work beyond full time, and also do a lot of Fine Art shows, so I'm hoping to stick close to home. ;-)
Thanks!
