As you may be aware, Indiana recently passed House Bill 1149 http://iga.in.gov/static-documents/8/8/d/4/88d4c8cb/HB1149.04.ENRS.pdf )
to expand markets for Home Based Vendors (HBV), while also requiring vendors to attend a food safety training course. Home-based vendors and other interested individuals are invited to attend a webinar on June 23 at 2:00 CT / 3:00 PM ET to learn more about the requirements that are included in this bill. Participants will hear from regulators from the Indiana Department of Health, Board of Animal Health, and Indiana Egg Board. Dr. Amanda Deering from Purdue Extension will also share information about training and resources available to home-based vendors.
