The 7 grandfather teachings originated from the Anishinaabe people, they were given as a gift from Gizhe-Manidoo to help watch over humanity as we move through life's cycles. As the Grandfathers witnessed us struggling each sent a helper who could teach us to learn how to live and grow in harmony with all creation.
Now days the 7 grandfather teachings have been adopted by many tribes across turtle island as guiding principles to living life in a good way. While we lead up to Tuesdays family night talk among your family about how you can show eachother examples of each teaching in every day life.

All of our pets are Rez rescues. Our dog is Blackfeet and our cats are Northern Cheyenne. Last year, our eldest dog, who was Crow, passed away, but she was the absolute sweetest and lived a long life. If you aren't looking to adopt a pet, please consider donating to outfits like this.
