Reflecting on our 250th anniversary as a country, and 25 years since one of our darkest days.
As a people, it’s hard to see how we can wrestle with feelings prompted by past events that have such large ripples in the lives of soldiers, veterans, & civilians.
May we continue to believe the best of people, honor the goodness found even the worst of times, and celebrate our common humanity.
I believe we can.
