šŸMust Try Fall Grilling Kabob RecipešŸ

ā€œHey there, fellow grill enthusiasts! šŸ‚

November has rolled in with its crisp air and golden colors.

We’ve crafted the perfect recipe to pair with this lovely season: our ā€˜Autumn Apricot-Glazed Chicken Kabobs’.

With a blend of warming spices and a hint of sweet apricot, these kabobs are a must-try.

šŸ”„Autumn Apricot-Glazed Chicken KabobsšŸ”„

Ingredients:

• 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
• 4 tbsp olive oil
• 1 tbsp sazon seasoning (for vibrant color and taste)
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
• 1 tsp ground cumin
• 1 tsp dried rosemary
• 1 tsp dried thyme
• 1/2 tsp ground ginger
• 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
• 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
• 1/4 tsp ground clove
• Salt and pepper to taste

Apricot Glaze:

• 1/2 cup apricot preserves
• 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
• 1 tbsp honey
• 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
• 1 garlic clove, minced
• Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Marination: Pour olive oil into a large bowl.

Add in the sazon seasoning, ground cinnamon, ground cumin, dried rosemary, dried thyme, ground ginger, ground turmeric, ground nutmeg, and ground clove.

Mix these ingredients well to achieve a paste-like consistency.

Now, add the chicken cubes to the bowl, making sure each piece is well-coated with the spice mixture.

Cover and marinate for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator.

2. Apricot Glaze Preparation: In a small saucepan, combine all glaze ingredients.

Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Stir continuously until slightly thickened, about 5-7 minutes.

Remove from heat and set aside.

3. Grilling Setup: Using a chimney starter, ignite the charcoal.

Once glowing and covered with gray ash, pour out and arrange the coals evenly over half of the coal grate.

Set the cooking grate in place, cover the grill, and allow it to preheat for 5 minutes.

You’re aiming for medium-high heat, around 400-425°F.

Use the hand test; you should be able to hold your hand about 5 inches above the grill grates for 4-5 seconds.

4. Skewering the Chicken: Retrieve the marinated chicken from the refrigerator.

Load the chicken cubes onto your Original 3 Way, leaving 1/2-inch at the tip of each tine.

Ensure the pieces are snug but not overcrowded.

5. Grilling: Place the loaded Original 3 Way on the hot side of the grill.

Let the chicken sear to achieve a charred exterior, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Once charred, move the skewer to the cooler side of the grill, brush generously with the apricot glaze, and cover the grill.

Let the chicken cook for another 12-15 minutes, brushing with glaze and turning occasionally, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

6. Serving: After taking the skewer off the grill, allow it to rest for about 5 minutes.

Utilize the food release lever to slide off the succulent, glazed chicken.

Pair with your preferred fall sides and revel in the flavors of the season!

We wanted to share one of our absolute favorite kabob recipes with you.

This is the one, folks… this is it.

Steak kabobs unlike any you’ve ever had.

You’ll find yourself devouring an entire 3 Way by yourself.

This recipe will leave you howling at the autumn šŸ‚ moon šŸŒ™ it’s so doggone delicious.

We present to you the…

šŸŒ™ Mystical Moonlit Steak Kabobs šŸŒ™

Embark on a grilling journey with Grilling Savant, where grilling is an art, transforming simple ingredients into grilling masterpieces!

What You Need:

• 2 pounds of sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch pieces
• 1 orange bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
• 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
• Salt and pepper to taste

For the Marinade:

• 1/4 cup olive oil
• 2 tablespoons soy sauce
• 4 garlic cloves, smashed
• Spices: 1 teaspoon each of thyme, rosemary, and oregano, 1/2 teaspoon each of paprika, cumin, and red pepper flakes

How to Make It:

1. Marinade Prep: In a big bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, smashed garlic, and those aromatic spices. Toss in the steak pieces, ensuring each piece is well-coated with this flavorful bath. Chill in the fridge for 2 hours to let those flavors really soak in.

2. Fire Up the Grill: Time to get those charcoals perfect! Fill your chimney with charcoal and light it up. Once the coals are ash-covered, spread them in an even layer. Replace the grill grate, and let it heat up. You’re aiming for a medium-hot temperature here. A good check for this is the hand test: carefully hold your open palm about 5 inches above the grill grate and count how many seconds you can comfortably keep it there. If you can hold it for 4-5 seconds, you’re in that perfect medium-hot zone.

3. Skewer It: Discard any leftover marinade. Now, carefully thread the marinated steak and colorful bell peppers onto your Original 3 Way Skewers, alternating between the meat and veggies.

4. Grill Time: Lay your loaded skewers on the grill. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, turning occasionally. This ensures all sides get that gorgeous char and smoky essence. Keep an eye on those flames—if they’re getting rowdy, move your skewers to a cooler part of the grill.

5. Check for Doneness: Safety first! Poke a meat thermometer into the steak. Here’s your guide to perfect meat:
• Rare: Remove at 125°F (it’ll reach 130°F while resting)
• Medium-Rare: Remove at 135°F (it’ll reach 140°F while resting)
• Medium: Remove at 145°F (it’ll reach 150°F while resting)
• Medium-Well: Remove at 150°F (it’ll reach 155°F while resting)
• Well Done: Remove at 160°F (it’ll reach 165°F while resting)

6. Rest and Serve: Patience, grill master!

Let your kabobs rest for 5 minutes; they’re still cooking a tad more.
