We’ve pulled all the goodies for kids, of all ages, into one location in my booth! I’ve got board games, puzzles, books, vintage wooden blocks, Duplos, an adorable toy chest with a cute snail, musical instruments , Mikey Mouse sheets, Winnie the Pooh prints, a framed stitched train, a ‘50’s rolling wooden horse, playroom art for the walls and the list goes on! It took me some time to work out when we could squeeze out the time to paint our new booth space. I’m super happy to let y’all know it’s finally done! No more purple! David and I finished it up yesterday. And then we covered up most of the wall with the most beautiful artistic quilt! We rearranged a ton of the shop, set up the “kid’s” area so it isn’t spread out all over and added several more pieces and art. What do you think?

Big news! I’m expanding my space! The vendor next to me moved their items to another location. I have thought long and hard about taking the space with the economy in its current state but have decided to give it a go! Just like my original space it has the dreaded purple wall with lots of holes. Ugh! So, first up is a fresh coat of off white paint. We’ve decided not to build walls. I will fill this area with furniture! We’ve been prepping a lot of my inventory. Everything from antiques to MCM, big and small pieces. I’ll keep you posted. Hopefully the bulk of the hard work will be done by the 15th. 🙏

David and I moved in the coolest antique chest today! It has runners on the bottom so it might have been a shipping container. It has some words and date on the front (see photos) but the script is faded and difficult to read. What do you think the date is? It shows some age but it is still very sturdy.

Hi gang! Life has been hella crazy for a few months but I’m getting getting back on track! Today, with the assistance of my trusty helper David, I loaded into my booth a complete custom bedroom suite of log furniture! We purchased this set for our son 21 years ago! It has moved and moved and moved over the years. He is finally out on his own permanently and we have no space in our home for this lovely set anymore. The set includes a twin bed with a trundle, a coat rack, a bookcase, a side table, a desk with an added computer slide and a 5 drawer dresser! All of the pieces have been thoroughly cleaned and have a fresh coat of satin poly. The trundle is currently awaiting a repair of a broken end piece. If you purchase the set before it lands in the shop I will make sure it is delivered to you. The set is selling for $600! Yes, just $600! Y’all take a look at this! It’s an early 20th Century precursor to our modern medicine cabinet. Handmade, hand carved and includes the cabinet with a mirror, cubbies, shelves, a drawer (with hardware that looks like a smiley gave!) and a towel hanger! I love it when I find pieces like this that are unique, useful and make a statement. It’s currently in my booth (HAD) at Needful Things if you’d like to see it in person. ❤️

I added some goodies to the shop! A solid oak dresser in very nice condition. It’s a bit quirky with mismatched brass hardware pieces. Also dropped in a pair of Dearborn maple drop leaf side tables with porcelain k***s. I’ve also added an assortment of mostly vintage toys, music instruments and books for the littles in your life.
