I am posting, while I can… I do hope that everyone is safe, and has access to the things that you need. The shop will be closed for a spell, for how long, I don’t know. We are all safe. Living in Swannanoa, it is a waiting game as to when we will be up and running, as are many other places. We are without power and water still, but have been able to gather the supplies that we need. We are finding creative ways to use the grill! My community has been helping each other, and it is heartwarming, to say the least. We are so lucky to have been up just high enough, that the flood water didn’t make it to our door. Many others, in my neighborhood, have lost everything. Harley Davidson is using their property as a landing pad, so we are hearing choppers, and sirens nonstop. It is so sad seeing all of the devastation that is so wide spread, both locally, and all across the southeast. It is all quite surreal, and I feel we are all still in a state of shock. Please stay safe out there! I don’t know what I could do to help, but I can always offer a shoulder to cry on. We are all in this together, and will come back from this even stronger. I do hope to see you all soon!
