Today we’re shining the spotlight on Nicole — one of our incredible vintage pickers here at Dandelion. ❤️
Nicole has loved vintage and antique treasures for as long as she can remember. Growing up in the Aberdeen area, she and her brother would bike to old abandoned houses just to explore. In high school, family antique store road trips (even to the tiniest towns) became a favorite pastime. That thrill of digging for hidden treasures — whether in forgotten basements or tucked-away corners — never left her.
Now, she brings that same adventurous eye to her room downstairs near the classroom. Her space is full of 70’s-inspired pieces, a little Sturgis motorcycle flair, and all kinds of fun vintage finds. It leans delightfully kitschy — the kind of items you spot and instantly think, “I know exactly who would love this.” Whether it’s cats, Smurfs, retro barware, or bold statement décor, Nicole has a gift for finding pieces that make you smile.
Outside of picking, Nicole has been welding since she was 15 — starting with her dad’s business before heading to Lake Area Tech to earn her degree. She continues to weld today, working with some amazing people. We’re so grateful that Dandelion has also become a place where she’s built friendships and community.
