Garden Moon Picture
(tips to paint on wood)

* This project was painted with multi surface acrylic paints on a plaque of wood.
* To prepare the piece of wood sand it very well and dust it.
* For the background always give 2 coats of paint with a flat brush.
* If your background is painted with dark color you have to draw the design with a white or yellow pencil.
* If your background is painted with light color, to draw the design you can use black pencil ( HB or B).
* When you paint flowers in order to give some dimensions to your paint project, start painting the leaves, after that the center of the flowers and finally the petals.
* Use a liner to paint details.
* For perfect dots use the back of the brush getting paint and dabbing on the surface of your project.
* Always be proud of your project and sign it.

Vintage Roses on Canvas

Supplies:
Canvas, flats and rounds brushes, liner, acrylic paints: mint, white, yellow, orange, raw sienna, dark green, aloe green, citrus green, pink, berry rose, magenta, drawing on paper of flowers, B pencil and a roll ball pen.

Directions:
* With a flat brush paint the background of canvas mint ( 2 coats). Let it dry.
* Transfer the drawing on canvas using a B pencil to shade de back of the paper, tape it on the canvas and draw the outlines with a roll ball pen.
* Start painting roses leaves with the one stroke technique, charge a round brush with dark green and aloe green paint following the leaf shape and with a liner charged with dark green paint the veins.
* Paint the foliage leaves with one stroke technique charging a small round brush with citrus green a a little bit of yellow. Paint the stems too.
* To paint berries use a round brush charged with berry rose and white, paint them making circles with the brush to give shadows and lights. With the liner paint the stems raw sienna.
* To paint roses, peonies and gardenias use the one stroke technique charging the brushes with the color of the flowers and add white, following the shape of each petal paint them, on the edges of the petals add more white with the liner to give more light. Using a small round brush paint the stamens yellow and orange dabbing on the center of the flowers and finish making little dots of white.
Paint citrus green the sepals.
* Don't forget to sign your project and hang the canvas to decorate your home.

Painting Tips for Beginners

Never is too late for start a creative Life...

1. If you are not good drawing, you can search online images of everything that you would like to paint. Print a copy and transfer it.
2. The easy way to transfer drawings is shading the back of the copy with a B pencil, place the copy on the surface that you want paint and start marking the outlines of the drawing with a ball pen.
3. Get good quality brushes, rounds, flats and liners.
4. Use multi surface acrylic paints, they are great to paint on canvas, fabrics, glass, cardboard and wood and they come in many different colors.
5. Always clean the surface before to paint. If you are going to paint on wood sand very well the piece and dust it, or if you are going to paint on glass clean the surface with alcohol.
6. Be proud of your project and sign it.
7. Enjoy the whole process!!!

Whimsical Fruits on Canvas

Supplies:
Acrylic paints white, yellow, orange, citrus green, dark green, clove green, sienna brown, dark brown, primary red, plum red, sky blue, brushes flats and round, liner, oval and round canvas.

Directions
* Mix white paint with a little bit of orange and paint the canvas with a flat brush (2 coats)..Let the canvas dry.
* Make a drawing of the fruits using a HB pencil or transfer a drawing that you find online.
* Using round brushes paint the lemons yellow with a citrus green touches around the edges.
* With a liner paint dark brown and sienna all the lemon twigs.
* Paint the flowers with white and blue sky using the technique of one stroke charging the round brush with white and on the top of the brush a little bit of sky blue, for the center paint a yellow dot.
* Paint red the strawberries using a round brush and giving touches of plum red around the edges. With a liner paint yellow and citrus green little random seeds.
* To paint the leaves use the one stroke technique charging the round brush with clove green and dark green, following the leaf forms. With the liner paint with dark green the leaf veins and stems.
* Paint random decorative dots around the canvas.
* Enjoy the whole process!!!!

Wrapping Presents 🎁

Furoshiki is a Japanese technique to wrap presents with fabrics, it doesn't use tape or glue, and you can choose a variety of fabrics like cotton, burlap, silk, etc. they could be flat colors fabrics or with prints.
Start wrapping your gift folding the fabric around of it, to keep the fabric on, tie a knot and twist the left overs fabric to create bows or flowers, between knots you can insert festive brunches, real leaves or flowers, cinnamon sticks, etc. Just be creative!

Glass Christmas Ornaments

To decorate your Christmas tree or give some hand painted gifts to your friends you can paint beautiful glass balls.
You will need glass or plastic balls, multiple purpose acrylic paints, brushes and Christmas designs on paper.
Clean very well each ornament with paper towel.
With a fine brush and white paint draw the outlines of your design and with a round brush fill the drawing.
Start painting flat areas with colors that you choose and after paint little details.
Let your project dry, acrylic paint are permanents so you don't need sealer.
If you want give another touch of creativity you can glue glitter on some areas.
Just be creative!!!

Cardinal On Wood Slice
(Tree Ornament)

On craft stores you can find sliced wood packages ready to create ornaments.
Transfer Cardinal drawings on the slice and start painting with acrylic paints, primary red, black, orange and white for Cardinals, berry red for berries, dark chocolate and ochre for tree branches. Use one stroke technique (on one side of the brush charge dark color and on the other side light color or white and proceed to paint).
To add snow on branches and berries apply Snow-Tex with a flat brush.
The acrylic paints are permanent so you don't need seal the slices.
Be creative choosing drawings on the web for your ornaments and enjoy the process.

Decorating Plain Christmas Balls

You can buy cheap plain Christmas balls at One Dollar Stores and add them festive touches with ribbons, fake pines branches, plastic berries and pinecones.
Get 3 little balls and tie them with a florist wire twisting it, tie a pine branch and a bow, with the left over of wire make a hook to hang the balls on the Christmas tree.
For big Christmas balls get a pine branch add some red berries and a pretty bow and glue it on the top of the balls. These balls already bring twine hooks.

Easy Centerpiece With
Snowy Pinecones

If you love organic and natural arrangements for Christmas you can collect pine cones and pine branches and display them on a pretty plate or on a cake stand.
Add to the pine cones a little touch of Winter snow applying Snow-Tex (sold in craft stores) with spatula or flat brush on the scales of the pine cones. Let them dry and create your own display.
Christmas is the Season to be creative and bring Nature into Home. 🌲❄️
