I think this little fox deserves a proper name before going on his first shopping trip!
He looks sweet, a little mischievous, and maybe just a tiny bit spoiled.
I was thinking Rusty, Pumpkin, or Mr. Whiskers, but I'm sure someone can come up with something even better.

I was admiring this little cat pillow when I suddenly realized something.
That face looks exactly like a cat silently judging every decision I've ever made!

I have a feeling these two little mice were supposed to be cleaning their cozy mouse house today!
But the moment they saw snow outside, all those chores were forgotten.
One grabbed a sled, the other found his mittens, and off they went!
I can't really blame them. If I had a beautiful snowy hill outside my window, I might forget about the laundry too.

I've always admired the strength of Mary. ❤️🌹
When we look at images of her holding baby Jesus, we often notice the tenderness first.
But I also think about her courage, her trust in God, and the difficult journey she would face as a mother.
To me, she represents a love that is both gentle and incredibly strong.
I wanted this quilt to honor that kind of strength.

I think this little purple bird has his priorities straight! He's carrying an umbrella big enough for himself, wearing his bright yellow boots, and looking perfectly prepared for a rainy day. Meanwhile, I still forget mine and end up running through the rain with a grocery bag over my head. Some birds are clearly better organized than I am!

Dear little cardinal,
I hope you appreciate how many fabric decisions went into giving you that beautiful red coat.

My granddaughter handed me a drawing with four colorful fish, a boat, and some waves. She looked so proud of it that I decided to turn it into a quilt.
Now that I've finished sewing it, I have to admit something... I still have absolutely no idea what the fish are doing up there!
But sometimes I think children's imaginations are far more interesting than anything we adults could come up with.

I love making little quilted pouches, but those rounded bottom corners can be a challenge! I want the edges to look neat...

When I was little, I loved spending time outside after a summer rain. 🌿❤️
There would be little frogs hiding in the grass, butterflies floating around the flowers, and puddles everywhere.
I'd come home with muddy shoes and stories about all the tiny creatures I'd discovered.
Looking at this quilt brings back that wonderful feeling of being a child who thought the whole backyard was an adventure.

My dad was the kind of man who always made room for animals. He could spend an entire morning sitting by the window, watching little birds hop around the garden. Sometimes he'd forget his coffee was getting cold because he was too busy watching them. Looking at these three little birds on my quilt brings back that gentle side of him. He never needed much to be happy.
