Went onCabinet Ridge Riders Horse poker ride today as usual they go above and beyond putting on a great ride. The best part is how much they support our community with the money they bring in. Thanks so very much for the time everyone put into making these poker events special.
Just took one picture today living in the moment and enjoying the ride.

Yippee my Welcome flags are here from temu it only took so long I didn’t remember what I ordered!! But they are exactly what I needed to say hi to all the neighbors passed LHR and if you’re coming to visit you be Welcome with another flag on the old barn door. Now I NEED HELP on how to decorate the barn door if you drop a suggestion I’ll go over them and pick my favorite one. Then the winner -can come and pick a bouquet of flowers 💐 Thanks

What I did to prepare for late spring frost!! Watered really good yesterday then up and out by 6 this morning too repeater watering . Why ???Watering thoroughly the day before a freeze helps, because moist soil absorbs heat from the sun during the day and slowly radiates that warmth upward at night, keeping plant roots cozy and raising the microclimate temperature. Dry soil is a poor insulator

Early Morning Defrosting Watering
If a frost has already formed, thoroughly watering the plant or soil before the sun comes up can help. This gently warms the frozen foliage and slows down the thawing process. Rapid thawing is what breaks plant cell walls; watering prevents this shock.
I also covered the pumpkins and beans with a light row cover nothing worse than those broad leaves getting cold 🥶

How many of you still hand w**d your gardens. I do it grounds me back where I want to be checking on how the dirt feels,smells telling me if I need to add more amendments.

UPDATE! just finished with getting some of the info with Cancer Network of Sanders County all who would like to help start setting up the logistics for this “Fundraising Committee” please come to the ranch Fri-yay(Friday)5/29 at 3pm to start organizing. Bring your ideas let’s start planning!!!! Thanks you all for helping.

Hitting my 30-year cancerversary free milestone, that I only hit this with a huge support group from family and friends from our community and greatly appreciated everyone helping me go through the months and months of treatments. Cancer Network of Sanders County was one of those who reached out with a much needed cash donation. I would like to return the favor by opening up Long Haul Ranch Flower Farm for a Scoop for Hope cancer fundraiser. I would appreciate any help to make this a yummy fundraiser for CNSC as cancer effects to many families in Sanders County.
