Our monthly email went out this week with all of the things we have in store for the month of November. We are SO EXCITED for this upcoming month and hope to see you at one of our events!

A question we get asked often: “Do you have gift certificates?” The answer is YES! Come stop by the shop to pick one up for your yarn and book loving friends ❤️

Children will always see the world different from us, and sometimes stepping into their world can be magical. For so many children, foundational memories are made at libraries, read-alouds, and in small cozy nooks. What an honor to be a safe space for this local little, and for so many others too ❤️📚🧶

⭐️ Just added ⭐️ Local author Millie Parker will be debuting the first novel of their cozy mystery series “Like Cats And Dogs”. When an indie board game convention becomes a crime scene, April May can’t help but become distracted by the assigned detective and her love of sleuthing. But even though she attended to sell her board game, she may lose it all if she’s not careful!

This is a casual come-and-go event, so come learn about the first book, upcoming series, and try the accompanying board game!

Like so many customers, she entered the store and came to our front bookshelf and began to browse. But she picked this book and gasped and continued on.
I met her in the next room and she said “thank you. I am Romani, and I have never seen a book about someone like me on a featured bookshelf in a bookstore”.

This is why we do what we do.

⭐️ BIG NEWS! ⭐️ As many of you know we have been collecting crocheted and knitted squares since the beginning of 2026. Officially today, our first box of blankets en route to Welcome Blanket to be distributed to a refugee family. We did this community! WE are making a difference! Even though the world is upside down, WE are choosing kindness and hospitality and goodness and not allowing the negativity take away our humanity. Thank you to all who contributed, we are still receiving squares from everywhere, and we will soon have another box to ship to this fabulous organization ❤️
