I learned to paint with acrylic paints in the 1980's.

I took classes from as many teachers as I could at conventions and in local shops to learn as much as I could. My favorite style of painting is stroke-work, German and Russian. I owned my own decorative painting store in CA. in the 1990's, enjoyed teaching beginner classes and selling my painted surfaces. I worked for 15 years for Delta/Delta Creative working with designers, working at trade shows

, publishing projects for the company in magazines. I am now retired, living in the high desert in Southern California. I am currently building a website to promote my painted projects and classes. I have two grown children and 5 grandchildren. I am looking forward to teaching at our local shops, painting groups and in my home studio promoting Decorative Painting.

New Workshop: Patriotic Summer Stack - Friday, June 12 10am-3pm. In this class, you'll craft a laser-cut wood design with dimensional pieces, painted with acrylic paints and embellished with crystal glitter and rhinestones. No experience required.
