Those that know me, know how much I respect veterans and active serviceman and women. Because of them, I am able to live free.

This is tragic for these families that lost an important link to their families. Please take the time to pray for all that are hurting. Pam is a distant cousin on my Dads side. 🙏

The tragic B-52 crash at Edwards Air Force Base has left countless people grieving, especially the family of Lt. Col. Miles Middleton, one of the eight victims who lost their lives in the disaster.

Middleton built a distinguished career as a test pilot and Air Force officer, helping guide critical flight-testing missions. He once led the 419th Flight Test Squadron and was respected for his professionalism, leadership, and commitment to service.

At home, however, he was simply a husband and father. Friends say he shared a close bond with his wife, Pam, and their two children, who are now facing the heartbreaking reality of life without him.

The aircraft crashed moments after leaving the runway during a routine test flight, creating a devastating scene at the base. Officials later confirmed that everyone aboard lost their lives.

Investigators are still working to determine what caused the crash, but for Middleton’s loved ones, the focus remains on honoring the life of a man remembered not only for his military service, but for the love, strength, and guidance he brought to his family every day.
