Of all the things I've made, this has taken the longest 🤎.

Vanilla Extract is now is the Farm Store. It's been aging for almost a year with Madagascar vanilla beans. Once this is gone, it won't be available until next fall.

I brought my 14 year old with me to Tractor Supply for his muscles today (it was a feed stock up day!). I did NOT think he would be the one to convince the store to let us take the last ducklings of the season for a $1 a piece if we took all 8 of them 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️.

So... we're starting over with babies right when we're starting to prep for winter lol.

Happy Saturday! 🍁🍎

🐐 GOAT WARNING!
If you don't want to be attacked by goats, come visit us before noon today!
If you don't mind the full “Snow White” experience, our goats will be free-ranging after noon until dusk.
Why? Because they need to forage! 😌 They LOVE munching on the apples that have fallen from the trees, goldenrod in the field, and all sorts of other plants they find along the way.
Plus, we have two mamas expecting kids this fall, and they love getting out, stretching their legs, and getting some exercise.
So stop by before noon for a more peaceful farmstand experience… or come after noon and embrace the chaos. 😂

Today, as I was reading devotions, I read 1 Thessalonians 5:18. It says: Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

It made me think of this summer. Labor day weekend is usually the time I start reflecting on summer 😌. I'm thankful for the tables in this barn that held so many people. I'm thankful for the flowers that bloomed at just the right time so we could have the most beautiful centerpieces. I'm full of gratitude for the God-centered marriage we were able to be a part of, and fully understand the warmth and abundance God brought into our farm that day.

When I reflect back, I see an abundance of joy. I see provision, and I see how God has provided emotionally and physically. And I'm so thankful 🤍

🥯Apple Cider Donut Candles- these are super fragranced, similar to a Bath and Body Works Candle. I keep them under a candle lamp and they smell up a whole floor of the house! If you burn them, they'll last about 45 hours. 3 cotton wicks, pure clean soy. $18

🍂 HELLO, SEPTEMBER 1!!!

The Farm Store is OPEN! 🤎 Fall goodies are out on the center table!

The Farm Store is self-serve and is open 8am-8pm! Come park in the grass by the cows!

Finishing touches will happen like better lighting and more signs, but we're thankful we can have this space now! 🥰

Things that probably won't ever go away are cow noises from inside the store (you are sharing a space with them 😉), and hearing roosters crowing from the outside! 🐂🐓

Farm store update!

Our little farmstand- the one our oldest son built, has officially moved from the side of the road inside the new farm store my husband built.

The original stand isn’t going away (my mama heart would not let that happen), so after thinking on how we could give this a beautiful new purpose, it’s now our Little Library! 📚 Read, Return, Repeat! Our goal is to fill this with nature and farm based learning and story books! I have quite a few from over the years, but you are more than able to add to the library for other kids if you have some you'd like to share!

The farm store will now have all of the farmstand goodies you’ve been used to finding outside, while the wagon will be for fresh flowers, produce, and pumpkins 🎃

🐂 Highland cow feed will always be available on the wagon. Everything is self-serve! If you pay with Venmo or Cash App, you can pay right at the wagon. If paying cash, just come into the store.

🍂 FALL IN THE FARM STORE STARTS SEPTEMBER 1!

➡️We’ll officially be up and running Tuesday, September 1, with our same farmstand hours:

8 AM – 8 PM , 7 DAYS A WEEK

✨ If the neon sign says OPEN, come on in!✨️
It's self-serve just like the stand has always been.

Just come right up the driveway and park by the store or in the grass by the cows. We’re still waiting on our store sign and putting on a few finishing touches, but we’re so excited to finally have this space open and just have a roof so we aren't weather dependent! ☀️🌧❄️
