HOLLY WOODWARD
Designer, Educator, Artist
Having graduated from the School of Business at High Point University with degrees in Interior Design and Home Furnishings Marketing, Holly has worked in design education for the state of North Carolina since 2004. As lead college instructor, she has acquired extensive knowledge and experience in curriculum development, creative direction, and adult education. She is an expert in the art of presentation and has used her love for teaching to train over a hundred students, prospective business owners and designers to develop their design potential through made-to-order courses that focus on utilizing drawing techniques to increase revenue. In 2007 Holly began House of Woodward, a studio offering a variety of design and freelance services to industry members. She has worked with established designers, builders, and real estate developers to conceive furnishings, textiles, architectural drawings, modeling, and presentations. Holly is best known for her refined silhouette and colorful approach to design with each project individualized to fit her clients’ style…..aesthetically chic, but timelessly inspired. When not creating, her greatest joy is being at home with husband Mark and their rescued mutts Dash and Lillian August.

Hey, Holly here! You may know me from DASH Home + Kitchen, but I thought it was time to reintroduce myself and share a little about what’s next.

My career has taken me on quite a journey. Along the way, I’ve worked as a college educator, furniture designer, product developer, and visual merchandiser. I’ve collaborated with some of the most talented people across the industry. Some of those projects have even found their way into publications like Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, and Traditional Home.

Today, my focus is visual merchandising, product development and residential design. I also partner with fellow industry professionals who need additional support with gallery spaces, visualization, presentations, construction documentations, and modeling.

And now, we’re turning a new page! Our studio is moving to First Avenue in downtown Hickory, creating a more customer-facing space where we can collaborate, connect, and bring new ideas to life.

I’m also fortunate to have a small, but talented team alongside me. Hailey has been my design assistant and partner in all things design and DASH over the past three years. Bonnie brings CAD expertise and background in visual merchandising and manages our most important clients.

This next chapter is about good design and building something meaningful here in Hickory.

We have been busy at the drawing board and it’s not a secret anymore! We are moving to First Avenue in January.
