This is my all-time favorite homemade snack! Who doesn’t love a cold popsicle on a hot day! These are so quick and easy and so delicious your family will want these every day!

I start with 4 or 5 ripe bananas, an 8 oz can of crushed pineapple and a handful of mini chocolate chips. Blend the bananas and pineapple together. This literally takes about 30 seconds. Then add in the chocolate chips (you can omit these if you’d like or use any other flavor) and give a quick pulse with the blender.
I have this great silicone popsicle maker that I got on Amazon for about $12. It comes with 6 reusable plastic sticks. If I make more of the recipe than will fit into 6 popsicles (which I usually do) I will use some small food storage containers and wood sticks for the rest. I don’t really recommend using the food storage containers because the sometimes break after being in the freezer, but I have a ton of them so not too worried about it, just want to you know it can happen. Small paper cups will work too.

Then spoon the mixture into the silicone mold, add the sticks and that’s it! I place it on a small baking sheet to transfer it to the freezer so I don’t spill! After a few hours, take them out and run under water for a minute or so. Then push from the bottom to release the popsicle. Place into a container in the freezer until you’re ready to eat – which is very soon in my house!!

This makes 9 popsicles

Bananas – $1.20
Can of Pineapple - $1.08
Handful of chocolate chips - .40¢
Total for 9 servings = $2.68

Do you compare prices before heading out to shop? Here is an example why you should if you want to save money. I love Everyone Lotion. The Coconut Lemon smells amazing and only has ingredients that are good for you. But depending on where you buy it from, you could pay up to 30% more. Whole Foods charges $12.99. The same 32 ounce bottle at Walmart is only $9.99! 🥰
