The custom-built oak cabinets in this kitchen were once stained brown and the walls were a sunflower yellow... a colorful yet somewhat dated space, for sure. To give the room a cleaner, sleeker and more modern look, I used grays, white, and a pop of red. The cabinets are painted with Sherwin Williams "Eider White" (SW 7014), the walls with "Anew Gray" (SW 7030), and the island with "Brainstorm Bronze" (SW 7033). Instead of a tiled backsplash behind the range, SW 6333 "Foxy" creates an eye-catching accent. A relatively easy and budget-conscious makeover!

There's still time to receive a completely complimentary interior design service from MH Interiors! Whether you need suggestions and direction for a quick room enhancement, or have a larger design project, your space will receive exactly what you need! Guidelines are below. Message me with the type of service you need. The deadline has been extended to Friday, June 9 to allow for additional entries, and the winner will be announced the week of June12th.

GUIDELINES:
1 - One person will be selected randomly in a drawing and will receive the service described in their chosen category;
2 - Only one entry per person, submitted through a Facebook reply or personal message;
3 - Recipient must reside in the NC Triad area. (For my long distance FB friends, I hope to have a special promotion in the future!)
4 - Promotion does not include the cost of materials, if necessary. (This depends on your project.)
5 - Recipient must be willing to allow "before" and "after" photos that can be posted on the MH Interiors website and on Facebook.
6 - The deadline to enter the promotion is Friday, June 9, 2017. Winners will be announced the week of June 12, 2017.
7 - Acceptance of design service and initial consultation must be completed by July 5, 2017. (This does not mean the project has to be completed by July 5, 2017 - just initial acceptance and consultation.)

#1. ENHANCE a room or space. Includes new layout for existing and rearrangement and/or removal of existing accent items to create a less cluttered and more usable, stylish space.
#2. REVIVE a room or space. Includes new furniture layout, rearrangement of existing accent items, color scheme planning for paint, wall coverings and accessories, and additional accent/accessory items as needed. (Materials and additional items to be paid for by recipient.)
#3. CREATE a room or space. If you have been considering the major renovation of a room but don't know where to begin or just don't have the time, this category is for you! Includes floor plan development, assistance with selecting materials for floors and walls, and help choosing furnishings and/or appliances. To take advantage of this category, it is best that this be a project you have already been strongly considering and are prepared to purchase materials for.

Many thanks to all of you who shared and liked my new page! As promised, I would like to announce my first MH Interiors promotion: A completely complimentary interior design service from one of the categories listed below based on a drawing of names entered. It's pretty easy to be a part of the drawing...

First, read the guidelines listed below.

Next, choose the category number (1, 2, or 3) for the type of design service you would like to be entered into the drawing for.

Finally, reply or personal message me with the category number.

"What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?" Three years ago, I bought this magnet and have kept it on my fridge ever since. It's a really good question, and it really made me think. MH Interiors is the result of my answering that question. I am excited to begin this new pursuit of starting an interior design business and have been planning and prepping for a "Grand Beginning" (kind of like a Grand Opening!) by creating this page as well as a website.
