There’s Strength in Unity

Today, we had the pleasure of attending the 6th Annual Kiwanis Club of Santa Fe Mini Golf Tournament between the High Springs Police Department and the High Springs Fire Department.

What stood out wasn’t who won or lost. It was seeing our first responders laughing together, competing together, sharing a meal together, and enjoying each other’s company.

In a world that often focuses on our differences, it was a great reminder that strong communities are built when people work together toward a common goal.

The same is true for High Springs.

We may not always agree on every issue, but at the end of the day, most of us want the same things: a safe community, a thriving local economy, opportunities for our children, and a town we are proud to call home.

Thank you to the Kiwanis Club of Santa Fe for bringing people together and for everything you do to support our community and our children.

Let's continue to remember that we are neighbors first. There is always more to gain through cooperation than division, and High Springs is strongest when we work together.

Bring a team of four, or if you don't have a full team, come anyway—we'll help match you up with others! This is a fun event for all ages, whether you're a serious putter or just looking for a good time.

Gather your team of four, bring your family, friends, coworkers, or neighbors, and get ready for a day filled with fun, friendly competition, and great memories. All ages are welcome!

Over the next week or so, we’re excited to start sharing vendor spotlights and small vignettes from different areas throughout Decades on Main! From antiques and vintage treasures to jewelry, art, home décor, candles, books, collectibles, and so much more — every corner of our store has its own story to tell!

Today we are featuring Lynn Cadenhill’s booth! Her space showcases beautiful handmade creations including jackets, shirts, jeans, purses, and various unique gifts made from repurposed quilts, denim, lace, and other materials. These one-of-a-kind pieces blend creativity, vintage charm, and craftsmanship into wearable art and gifts you won’t find just anywhere!
