Our company is inspired by the idea that everyone should have the opportunity to live in a space that they have always desired. For this particular client, they moved into a condo where the existing blue accent wall just wasn’t the right shade for the space. Paint is one of the most cost-effective ways to completely transform a room, and the difference here was dramatic.

We selected Sherwin Williams Shade-Grown to create a richer, moodier backdrop that elevated the entire dining area. We also updated the lighting with a beautiful fixture from@hudsonvalleylighting , reframed a meaningful family heirloom through to better suit the scale of the wall, and brought in monochromatic chairs from to create cohesion and softness throughout the space.

The design centered around my client’s vintage grandmother’s table — blending old and new in a way that feels deeply personal, elevated, and timeless.

We’ve officially decided to participate in the One Room Challenge! 🎉

Follow along as I transform my own home powder room — a space that gets a lot of use in our home and is long overdue for some love. To say it’s lacking design is honestly an understatement. 😅

Over the next 8 weeks, I’ll be putting my design skills to work and sharing the process along the way. From concept to finished reveal, we’ll be posting updates throughout the transformation — and I can’t wait to bring this little space to life.

It’s the first day of spring, and it has us thinking about how we love helping clients bring their indoor living experience outside.

From outdoor dining and comfortable seating areas to spaces for watching TV and gathering around the grill, thoughtful design can make your outdoor spaces feel like a natural extension of your home.

These renderings helped our client visualize how their outdoor space could come together before construction even began.

Fun fact, we made sure to talk to the village to see what requirements they had for outdoor spaces. So, when planning the louvered pergola, we ensured it was 10 feet away from the home to meet code.

Part 2 of this condo renovation near the Magnificent Mile in Chicago.

The clients wanted to maximize the space in both their primary and guest bedrooms, so we started with floor plans to ensure we were using every inch thoughtfully and selecting furniture that fit the scale of each room.

In the primary bedroom, we chose a bed with built-in storage drawers concealed within the frame for a clean, streamlined look. Can you spot them? We also incorporated meaningful artwork from the clients’ travels to Paris above the dresser.

In the guest bedroom, we designed a large upholstered wall headboard to create a polished focal point. The clients wanted their two sons to have a comfortable place to stay when visiting from college, while also allowing the room to function well for other guests. To achieve that, we created a flexible setup where the beds could remain as individual Twin XLs or be pushed together to form a king-size bed. We also selected a large desk with storage drawers that could serve double duty as clothing storage for guests.

Creating a beautiful space is important, but how a room functions is equally essential to the way homeowners live in and use their home. At Chanath W Interiors, we listen closely to your needs and create spaces that reflect both beauty and function seamlessly.

Our goal is to craft spaces that are bespoke, functional, and beautifully layered with meaning—an environment that feels distinctly yours.

For this client, we thoughtfully incorporated a painting, chair, and ottoman from the homeowner’s late mother. The painting was given new life with a black frame, while the chair and ottoman were refreshed in a fabric color drawn from the artwork itself. Though these pieces were renewed, the memories they hold continue to live on within the space—woven into the client’s everyday experience.
