Applications for this year’s Lucia procession are now open for anyone aged 5 - 24. The dates for practices have yet to be determined.

This year the crowning will take place downtown at the temporary Nordic House in the Wrigley building (400 N. Michigan Ave). Then, we will head up to Andersonville for a procession up Clark street and an outdoor performance by the Christmas tree. We end the day at Ebenezer Lutheran Church.

💫VASALOPPET 100 ÅR, VISSTE DU ATT…?💫
På Vasaloppets startfält i Sälen finns, ett normalår, 52 stycken spår i bredd. Startfältets sammanlagda spårlängd är lika långt som hela loppet. Totalt i Vasaloppsarenan mellan Sälen och Mora finns under vinterveckan 2 550 kilometer skidspår.

Så sent som 1952, när 379 skidåkare deltog, gick Vasaloppet i ett enda spår längs hela sträckan.
