Selux creates high-quality, energy-efficient, sophisticated luminaires for a variety of interior & e Since 1983, Selux U.S.

has made its home in the Hudson Valley Region of New York State. Here we manufacture and distribute interior and exterior lighting fixtures throughout North America. Like many of the Semperlux AG subsidiaries, Selux U.S. is an independent profit center with local management accountable for all US operations. This management approach allows us the independence to focus on the unique demands of our specific markets with a competitive entrepreneurial spirit. While we work closely with our International colleagues, products are selected, engineered and manufactured to meet the demands of North American lighting and building requirements. Our market philosophy enables the Architectural Designer to select from a catalog of standards as well as work with our team of local engineers and lighting application professionals to establish their own unique design solution. Selux is the place to find original designs, manufactured from quality materials, produced at a competitive price.

MORE FIXTURES. MORE POSSIBILITIES. ONE DARKSKY COMMITMENT 🌌 . Good exterior lighting does more than illuminate a space. It shapes how people experience the built environment—and how that environment interacts with the night sky.

At Selux, we’re proud to offer a large portfolio of DarkSky-approved luminaires, giving architects, landscape architects, lighting designers, and specifiers a broad range of solutions for creating high-quality outdoor environments while helping minimize unnecessary light pollution.

From pedestrian-scale applications to architectural and site lighting, our exterior portfolio combines thoughtful optical performance, refined design, and responsible illumination.

Better light doesn’t have to mean more light. It means the right light, in the right place, at the right time.

BUILT STRONG. BUILT TO ENDURE. BUILT TO LAST. 💡 Quality isn’t just about how a product looks on day one. It’s about how it performs years later — especially when conditions get tough.

At East River State Park in Brooklyn, NY, 50 Selux Discera Solar luminaires faced the extreme conditions of Superstorm Sandy. As floodwaters rose and the surrounding area went dark, the Selux lights kept shining. The luminaires and their mountings endured high winds, while their self-contained electrical systems stayed safely above rising floodwaters.

High-quality materials. Thoughtful engineering. Reliable performance designed for demanding environments. 🌧️

With the anniversary of Superstorm Sandy approaching, take a moment to remember the resilience of East River State Park. Because great lighting shouldn’t just illuminate a space — it should stand the test of time.

A BEAUTIFUL DAY FOR GOLF, old friends, and some old-fashioned networking! ⛳️
The Zimmers Memorial Golf Outing was started by Emory Zimmers, a Philadelphia manufacturers’ rep, to promote networking—long before the internet. The tournament was later named in his honor.

With about 30 foursomes in attendance, it was a great day to reconnect with old colleagues, friends, and members of the lighting community.

Selux was proud to supply the golf balls for the group. Everyone on our team received a sleeve… which are now somewhere in the woods in Pennsylvania! 😂

Great tradition. Great memories. Great day.

Last Friday, we had the pleasure of hosting Paul Abdella from Apex Lighting, Rick Williams, Principal at Arcadis, and Steve Woods, Senior Landscape Architect at Agency for a day of lighting and product conversations to factory tours, education, and bratwurst, it was a full day—and a great opportunity to connect outside the office as well.

We wrapped up the day at Germania of Poughkeepsie’s Oktoberfest—complete with great food, German music, and plenty of fun! 🇩🇪🍻

Thank you for spending the day with us. We enjoyed connecting, learning, and sharing a little German tradition along the way!

🍻 Prost! 🇩🇪

TARIFFS ARE BACK IN THE HEADLINES.
Here's what that means if you work with Selux: not much.

Every fixture we manufacture is made right here in the USA, at our facility in Highland, NY. We also source components locally wherever possible, which keeps our supply chain short and our pricing steady, even as the market shifts around us.

We have also recently refined our manufacturing processes to boost efficiency and speed, so you get the same quality fixtures, faster.

🇺🇸 American-made. Locally sourced. Built to last.

Today marks 25 years since the tragic events of September 11, 2001, that took the lives of so many and forever changed the lives of countless others. On this day, we pause to honor those whose lives were lost, those who were impacted by the events, and the first responders who had the courage to answer the call. Today, we stand united and remember those who were taken all too soon.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸
