“Learning from Electric Lady” — On Campus at Five Universities This Fall
One studio design legend. Fifty-plus years of iconic rooms. Five campuses, One fall tour. Join John Storyk, WSDG Founding Partner, sharing much of his lifetime work in architecture and acoustics.
This October and December, John is bringing a discussion and presentation series to five university campuses across the country. Each stop covers his five-decade career in acoustic and architectural design for the professional audio and video recording industry. Since his 1969 debut as co-designer of Electric Lady Studios, Storyk and the WSDG team have designed more than 3,000 studios, stages, and production facilities worldwide — from private studios for Alicia Keys, Bruce Springsteen, Jay-Z and Jack Antonoff to landmark spaces like Jazz at Lincoln Center, Spotify’s Los Angeles studios and Rue Boyer in Paris — earning WSDG thirteen NAMM TEC Awards for Studio Design along the way.
