Ok. So in the fall I started a crazy hard program. I ended up passing the test and now am certified in cyber security. I’m going to be looking for a job and testing my health to see if I can handle it now that I’m doing so much better on this new med.
That being said I can’t keep up with orders. I have found that I love making my own products but I’ll only be able to make them for myself.
Soooo. I think at least for now the Artsy Farty Sisters will be taking a side business break.

A customer of mine said her husband started using my lotion bars on his eczema and it’s gone!!!! So I decided to make some lotion sticks.
These will be in 2 different scents (purposes)

First one will be called healthy skin. I used 3 essential oils known for helping skin. Helichrysum, copaiba, juniper berry

Second one will be stress relief. I have noticed that this combo has a calming effect on my feet and legs. If you have neuropathy or restless leg syndrome this could help you too. The 3 essential oils used in this one are lavender, rosemary, clary sage.

I finally made some soap today!!!

Oatmeal is amazing for gently cleaning AND tones and nourishes your skin at the same time.

I have spent the last month researching soap making. Man! It was overwhelming! So much science that goes in to it. I decided to start slowly with some basic recipes first. When buying homemade soaps does anybody care just how natural they are? Some of the most pretty ones you see have dye in it that is definitely not natural. Others use fragrance oils instead of essential oils? What is it that is important to you??

Guess what?!?!?!?!
All the tumbler stuff is sold!! Now I can start getting all the things I need to start making soap!! So excited. I’ll have to take a vote on what my first one should be. 😃

I am changing the recipe for my lotion bars slightly for the summer. This will help them to not soften so much. But you can easily keep them in the fridge too. This feels amazing on sore feet!!!!

Here in Utah we have had an incredibly snow pounding winter. That translates to a lot of water as in melts. So now it’s getting warmer and….yay!!…..the mosquitoes are out! A friend asked me to make a lotion bar to use as a natural bug repellent. I’ll be making those up tonight if anybody wants to order!
-citronella, lemongrass, lavender
(Other good oils to add would be cedarwood, rosemary, eucalyptus, peppermint)
